There are three main states of matter. Solid, liquid and gas.

The atoms in a solid holds it’s shape and are stuck together. A clock, a phone and a brick are all solids. Atoms in a liquid are still connected but are loose. Liquids take the shape of it’s container. Water is a liquid. The atoms in a gas move around freely. Gas inside a bottle for the barbecue is called LPG Propane gas.

Year 6 Camp - Kawau Island

On Tuesday November the 15th year 6 students went off to Kawau Island for camp. And when we went to camp the year 5s went to motat.When the buses arrived we hopped on and off we went it wasn't that long to sandspit  well maybe but it didn’t feel like It when we arrived  at sandspit we had to wait for the ferry So when we were waiting we got all the bags of the bus and took it to this tiny shed.

When the ferry arrived the teachers loaded the fairy then we all hop on the fairy and off we went.We were so excited to go to kawau island.When we arrived at kawau we unloaded the ferry and took our bags to the front of the cabins.

The second night we played spot light it was fun the kids had to hide and the teachers had to find us. Then mr jacobson would blow his trumpet then we would go back the winners would on the deck and wait for Mr Jacobson to tell to stand up in a line.

My favorite Activity was sailing it was fun. When Mr Goodwin said tiller to the sail it means when you turn your tiller it will turn the boat feel like you will tip out and it's funny.

Every morning for breakfast we had porridge, cornflakes, rice bubble and hot food also  milo When we finished having breakfast we had to clean up the dining room.

On the last night we had a concert night there were 4 groups Mansion, Bentzon, Kawau and Katz. My group name was mansion we up one by one then Mr jacobson and Ms takarei were the judges.

the Bush

In the Bush there were too people walking in the dark. and they had get fast but as they were walking they saw a bright light coming towards them. They stopped and stared for a second. they were getting the creeps up their arms. But they just kept walking home as they were walking they heard a big bang. They turned around looked where it came from it was a spaceship that just came from out of space. As the spaceship door came out alien going destroy the word and the too human started to run  home. and when they got home they locked all the doors and closed the windows and they were safe.

The next day for a walk in the Bush were the big bang. Was they forgot about the too aliens and the spaceship. Until they saw a big hole in the ground they were the aliens parked their spaceship they.Fort that the aliens were going to get more and more aliens to destroy the word so they ran to the. City and told everyone it was even on the news saying that the alien were going to destroy the word.

When they told everyone they they really felt better that they told everyone and so that the people. Know what to do when the aliens show aging they will be ready the too. People were when the too. people were walking they saw the spaceship but no aliens in the ship at the house were the aliens the too peeple.

Hiwi the kiwi

One day me and my dad went fishing at Kawakawa beach. We brought my dad’s boat  to go fishing before we got on the boat we put our life jackets on. When we got on the boat we went half way from Shore After we caught a fish we measured it. It was too long so we put the fish back in the water.

Half an hour later my dad had a bite he quickly wound his rod in. It was  a marlin  I was so happy. I went to get a wet towel. I got the fish of the hook and I gave it to my dad and he measured it. It was the  right size so we put it  in a big chili bin and took it home for dinner. Then we went home to cook the fish when the fish was ready we sat down and eat the fish it was so yummy.

The fish was really nice so we went out the next day we caught two same fishes. Then we went home to cook it but when we went home.Some of our family was  so when my mum and Aunty was cooking the fish the rest of us went to the back yard and played tigge. there

My holiday writing

In the holiday I went to the park we had so much fun  on the way home we got some Mcdonald. When we got to Mcdonalds,I had a Big mac but I didn’t eat it all. I ate the rest when I got home

The next day me and my mum and brother went for a walk around the lagoon. When we were halfway we played at the park for two minutes. when to minutes was up mum said we had to keep walking. When we got to the car we went to count down  to get us something to eat.

My fiafia writing.

Fiafia is here! Last week on Thursday we had a fiafia at Pt England School. Mr Burt  and some of his  Prefects  introduced all of the groups.This was our chance for us to share cultures and Talents. we were going to perform to the audience. we went to our dressing rooms to get dressed. The kapa haka kids had to go to their dressing room at five because the kapa haka people are first one’s on the stage. When  it was seven o'clock that when fiafia  started Jordan and Elizabeth and colin also marilyn help introduced the 18 group performing. When kapa haka kids went on to  the stage our first song was whakataka te hau and utainga then ka pioioi e also we did the haka when the kapa haka group got off we had to sit the longest.

My Easter Weekend

On Friday my Aunty and uncle came to Auckland. We went to the park with my mum dad brothers and sister. On the way home we had something to eat when we went home my mum said that we can have a easter hunt on saturday. When  it was saturday we had an easter hunt because on sunday my Aunty and uncle they had to laeve Ackland about 2.am in the mornnig.
